About Us
Markaz us-Sunnah was established in 2014 in Wembley, London, to share the message of Islam based on the Quran and Sunnah.
We hold regular talks and classes to teach people about Islam. Our classes target many different people, from talks for the youth to detailed courses for those seeking in-depth understanding.
We also have an open access library with many books on belief, Quran, hadith, Islamic history and much more.
We bring the community together through regular gatherings and a variety of events, helping to clear misconceptions about Islam.
With many benefitting from our lessons and online content every month, our goal is to spread the religion of Islam and support the community for many generations to come, in sha Allah.

History
We have had a community in the Wembley/Alperton area striving to be upon the way of Ahlus Sunnah for many years before the establishment of Markaz us-Sunnah Islamic Centre. We had a location we rented weekly to establish the Jumuah prayer and rented King Edward VII Park to establish the Sunnah of praying the Eid prayer in the Musalla, as our Prophet used to do. Then we were able to get a building for the Islamic Centre, this was our first location and the opening day was April 25th, 2014 beginning with our first ever Jumuah prayer. Then we moved down the road to our current location on July 7th 2017.
